Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data DevAxis Labs collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is [LEGAL NAME / TRADING NAME], [REGISTRATION NUMBER, if any], with address at [ADDRESS, COUNTRY]. You can contact us about privacy at[YOUR EMAIL].

2. What data we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, and the message you write. We only receive what you choose to submit.
  • Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic technical details (browser, pages requested, date and time) in server logs, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
  • Emails: if you email us directly, we keep that correspondence.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • To keep the website secure and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To meet legal obligations, such as accounting and tax records if you become a client (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

4. Who we share data with

  • Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and processes contact form submissions on our behalf, including sending them to us by email.
  • [YOUR EMAIL PROVIDER, e.g. Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 / Proton], which handles our email.
  • Professional advisers (e.g. accountants) or authorities, where legally required.
  • [Cal.com / Calendly], if you choose to book an intro call: they process the name, email, and any details you enter when booking. Their own privacy policy applies on their site.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers rely on safeguards recognised under GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. [VERIFY against Netlify's current Data Processing Addendum and your email provider's terms.]

5. How long we keep your data

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to [12] months, then deleted. If we work together, we keep project and invoicing records for as long as the law requires (for accounting records this is typically several years, depending on your country).

6. Cookies and tracking

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted, or its use restricted;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To use any of these rights, email[YOUR EMAIL]. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority ([NAME OF AUTHORITY AND WEBSITE FOR YOUR COUNTRY]).

8. Security

The website is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to enquiry data to what is necessary to respond to you.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
